What Does Canada Think of US?

Contact a student from another country from our blogging buddies list. Leave a comment on their latest post asking them the what do they think of when they hear the words “United States.” What are some symbols they would use to represent the United States. In your post please include the address of the blog you left a comment on, and then include the answer when they reply.

I left a comment on a Canada blog and asked them the two above questions.  I am waiting for the comment to be approved and waiting for a reply.  Check out the Canadian blog at this site

First Day Fright

One word descibing my feelings about high school: stress.First of all, at this point I don’t even know what high school I will be attending.  Second of all, course selection sheets are due Friday for my homeroom, and I have yet to decide on my electives or on whether I will take honors or AP world history.  I am leaning towards taking honors because AP will be a lot of work, and I am all ready taking honors for every other subject.  I want to take construction for one of my electives, but I am afraid that I will get stuck in a class full of obnoxious boys.  If I end up getting excepted to Choate, it doesn’t mean I can go there.  I can only go there if I get the scholorship, which is very unlikely.  So right now I am just acting like I never even applied to Choate and I am just going to Sheehan, it takes some of the stress away.  If I just so happen to get the scholorship, I will be very excited, but incredibly nervous.  I won’t know anyone and there is a whole campus, not just one building.  I get butterflies just thinking about it.  But I know that wherever I end up going, I will do well and be happy.  I am good at making new friends and I will already know a ton of freshmen and upperclassmen at Sheehan.  I am nervous and stressed, but also really really excited!  I hope everyone else is also excited about high school.  I think it will be something new and different for everyone, but soon we will adjust.  I also think we’ll have a lot more freedom, meaning we won’t have to walk with our teachers from class to class!lalalalalalalalalala.jpgAre your grades slipping?  Are you worried about high school homework?  Do you need some homework help?  Go to this site.My comments are on aor08’s blog, nrs08’s blog (He as to approve my comment before it shows up), and on 9 yr. old Nicole’s blog (But she has to approve my comment before it shows up).
