One word descibing my feelings about high school: stress.First of all, at this point I don’t even know what high school I will be attending. Second of all, course selection sheets are due Friday for my homeroom, and I have yet to decide on my electives or on whether I will take honors or AP world history. I am leaning towards taking honors because AP will be a lot of work, and I am all ready taking honors for every other subject. I want to take construction for one of my electives, but I am afraid that I will get stuck in a class full of obnoxious boys. If I end up getting excepted to Choate, it doesn’t mean I can go there. I can only go there if I get the scholorship, which is very unlikely. So right now I am just acting like I never even applied to Choate and I am just going to Sheehan, it takes some of the stress away. If I just so happen to get the scholorship, I will be very excited, but incredibly nervous. I won’t know anyone and there is a whole campus, not just one building. I get butterflies just thinking about it. But I know that wherever I end up going, I will do well and be happy. I am good at making new friends and I will already know a ton of freshmen and upperclassmen at Sheehan. I am nervous and stressed, but also really really excited! I hope everyone else is also excited about high school. I think it will be something new and different for everyone, but soon we will adjust. I also think we’ll have a lot more freedom, meaning we won’t have to walk with our teachers from class to class!
